OneSparkMatchmaking (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this waitlist website collects, how it is stored and used, and the choices you have. It covers the waitlist website only; the future OneSparkMatchmaking app will have its own privacy policy before launch.

What we collect

  • Waitlist form (required): your first name, email address, country, the types of connection you’re interested in (at least one), and confirmation that you are 18 or older.
  • Waitlist form (optional): your city or area, your current relationship status, the relationship statuses of people you’d be comfortable connecting with, and whether you opted in to marketing emails.
  • Automatically: the date and time of your submission.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, topic and message.

We only receive this information when you choose to submit the waitlist form. Selecting options on the homepage does not send anything until you submit. We do not ask for payment details, photos, identity documents, sexual histories or other intimate personal details.

What joining the waitlist does not do

  • It does not create a profile or a matchmaking account. The OneSparkMatchmaking app is not yet available.
  • Your answers are never displayed on this website, and you cannot see other people’s responses.
  • We do not match or introduce anyone based on waitlist answers.

How we use it

  • Launch notifications (necessary): to tell you when early access opens and to send essential updates about the waitlist you joined. These are part of joining the waitlist.
  • Marketing emails (optional): news and offers from OneSparkMatchmaking, sent only if you ticked the optional marketing box. Leaving it unticked does not affect your place on the waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Planning the platform: your connection preferences and optional relationship-status answers help us understand what people are looking for, so we can design the OneSparkMatchmaking app around real needs. Your country and city or area help us understand where interest is coming from. We review these answers in aggregate.
  • Relevant launch updates: we may use your country, area and connection preferences to send you launch information that is relevant to you, for example when early access opens in your region.
  • Replying to you: when you contact us.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored using Netlify Forms, a service operated by Netlify, Inc., which may process data in the United States and other countries. We do not sell your personal information.

Adults only

OneSparkMatchmaking is intended only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 has joined the waitlist, we will delete their details.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details, including your preferences and optional answers, until launch and for up to 12 months afterwards, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first. After that we delete them, or keep only anonymous totals that cannot identify you.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information (including your preferences and optional answers), leave the waitlist, or withdraw marketing consent at any time. Withdrawing marketing consent does not remove you from the waitlist. Contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL — replace before launch] or through our contact form.

Changes

We may update this policy as OneSparkMatchmaking develops. We will post the updated version on this page with a new date.
